1. Recall the following expressions.

2. Complete and appreciate the following sentences.

3. Observe and summarize:

S1-S5：情绪描写在主语(主句/状语) 中，除此之外，句子还用什么形式补充句子的什么内容？
用the minute/the moment引导状从补充了主句发生的时间；用分词短语补充了主句的结果和原因；用so...that...补充了主句的结果。                                
S6-S7：情绪描写在状语(主句/状语) 中，而主句则描写在这种情绪下人物所做的事情或肢体动作。
总结：在写作中要强调突出情感时，可以单独用一个主句描写情感；当急于推进故事情节时，可以将情感描述放在状语中，从而不影响主句推动情节。
用主句描写情绪的常用句型：
S1-S3: 无灵主语（用无生命的事物来做主语）:
①(a wave of+) 情绪名词+ 固定动词+sb as/when/the moment/at the sight of...
②The sight/view/though of...fill sb with情绪名词/make sb. 情绪形容词
S4: as adj/adv. as...比喻手法
S5: ③so...that...(可用完全倒装)
用状语描写情绪的常用句型：
S6-S7:形容词/分词(独立主格结构)/with复合结构，主句(sb do sth).
            描述情绪                          与该情绪相关的肢体动作/推进故事的动作  

4. Complete the following sentences.

1. Excitement gripped the audience as the winner was announced.当宣布获奖者时，观众们激动不已。
2. The joy of accomplishment filled my heart, as if each cell in my body was dancing with joy.

成就的快乐填满了我的心，仿佛我身体的每个细胞都在快乐地舞蹈。

（*无灵主语可以是：情绪名词，情绪的表情a look of..., 看到/听到的事物the sight of.../the thought of...）

5. Translate the following sentences.

4. I was on the top of the world as I eventually gained an A for my paper.（用比喻句）

5. His face lit up with excitement as he realized the potential of the project.

7. 难以抑制心中的喜悦与兴奋，小男孩高兴得跳了起来。（形容词作状语）

Unable to contain the happiness and excitement in his heart, the little boy jumped with joy.
8. 他非常激动，感觉身体里的每个细胞跳起舞来，眼里噙满了泪水。
①He was so thrilled that he felt each cell in his body danced with joy and tears filled his eyes.(用so...that...句型）
②So thrilled was he that he felt each cell in his body danced with joy, with tears filling her eyes.(把so放在句首的倒装句)
9. She felt happy.(改成无灵主语，并进行适当拓展)     
A wave of happiness swallowed her at the thought of reuniting with her old friend, her heart pounding wildly .

6. Micro-writing: 用4-5个句子来描述你抽中百万大奖时，你和你朋友的感受或肢体动作。
